During the exploration of the planet Nibiru, Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) of the Enterprise took a bold move to rescue Spock (Zachary Quinto), which almost endangered the lives of the entire fleet, and he paid the price for it. Soon after, Kirk was restored to his original position, and a terrorist attack occurred in London that killed more than 40 people. The initiator of the incident, John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch), is from within the alliance.
