After the award-winning debut, "No way in Heaven" (2015), which presents an exceptional view of hell in Nazi concentration camps, Nimis pushed the deep lens forward to stare at the collapse of the world during World War I. The mysterious orphan girl Alice came to Budapest and was turned away from the hat shop founded by her late father, thus embarking on a journey to track down the devil ghost of her brother, go back to the past and uncover the hidden truth of the family. Continuing the previous style, the long mirror follows Alice to travel through the dark time and space, focusing on the limited point of view, narrow perspective, and the oppressive sense of nightmare-like hazy images; with the glimmer of the old family store, oblique to the fall of civilization.
