The film tells the story of several patrol officers in the northern part of the United States, Vermont, who spend most of the day playing tricks on speeding drivers, taking out sports cars left behind by buckles and fighting with local police. The good days have finally come to an end, as the government is suffering from huge financial expenditure, the news of layoffs and unemployment spread in the ears of this group of "idle people". In order to avoid being laid off, they intend to behave actively, but there is nothing to make them do well in remote border areas. During a routine inspection, they found traces of drug smuggling, but when they were in full pursuit, they found that they were also wanted by the city police.
