Dan (Alan Shaba Alain Chabat) is a television journalist who goes to the Barombi tropical jungle alone for an exclusive interview with Baya tribal leaders. Babidu (Jamel Dubuz Jamel Debbouze), who lives in the local town of Barumbi, has been adopted by children who call them "liars".
