One generation of martial arts master Liu Jialiang directed another kung fu work "Mantis," which was performed by Liu Jiahui, Huang Xingxiu, Li Lili and David Jiang to show "Mantis boxing" for the audience! The story is set in the Qing Dynasty. Wei Feng (Jiang David), the son of an upright official, meets the Tian family's granddaughter Zhi Zhi (Huang Xingxiu) in order to find out the evidence of defection. Zhi Zhi finally dies under the fist of Tian Lao in order to cover Wei Feng. Wei Feng escapes from death and creates mantis boxing for revenge.
