Just as people are preparing to celebrate the festival happily, the ancient Mayan prophecy seems to be coming true. In the film, a series of disasters linked to the mysterious Mayan prophecy and Christmas carol "The 12 Days of Christmas" drag a town to the brink of destruction, and the phenomenon is rapidly spreading around the world. A father (EdQuinn) finds out that his daughter (Magda Aponowicz, "godsend", "Caprica") is the "chosen one"-only she can prevent a bigger disaster. But angry town residents all blamed the girl for their loss of home and vowed to kill her. Donnelly Rhodes from Battlestar Galactica participated in the performance.
