The Bank Job

The Bank Job 7.2

This film is based on real historical events. In 1971, Michael X, the leader of a black militant group, was charged with drug trafficking, but was released a year ago after he obtained a private photo of Princess Margaret, a member of the British royal family, and blackmailed the authorities. Tim (Richard Lintern), a staff member of MI5, was ordered to retrieve the photos collected at a bank in London. Tim finds Ma Ting (Saffron Burrows), a drug trafficker, and blackmails her into robbing a bank to get photos for himself. Martine soon formed a gang planning to dig tunnels and rob the vault with several semi-professional criminals or newcomers led by Teri (Jason Statham). Teri and others ransacked the vault as they wanted, but the loot made them restless: private photos of members of the royal family, books of bankers bribing officials, dirty hobbies of senior officials. As a radio enthusiast overheard the content of their conversation during the crime, the case caused an uproar. Teri and others fell into the center of competition among various forces, and he had to struggle with the evidence on hand.
