Middle-aged man Frank Arnold (Karl Malden) used to be a journalist. After he went blind, he lived with his niece Lori (Cinzia De Carolis). One evening, when the uncles and nephews were spreading, they heard a mysterious conversation between two strange men. That night, the nearby Tez Medical Institute was broken into. The policeman who came to investigate learned that nothing was missing and left. However, the next day the newspaper published the news that Kara Bressi (Carlo Alighiero), a staff member of the research institute, fell off the platform and was killed. Frank knew that the deceased was one of the two men talking that day, and there must be something behind the seemingly unexpected death. He finds the journalist Carlo (James Franciscus) who has reported the break-in, and with the cooperation of the two journalists, a mysterious medical experiment emerges.
