The Crimson Rivers

The Crimson Rivers 6.9

"Undercurrent" received rave reviews when it was released in France on September 27, 2000. The audience exceeded one million in the first week and became the top-grossing French blockbuster in 2000. Experienced Paris police detective Pierre (Jean Reno) comes to the university town to investigate the bizarre murder of strangled bodies hanging high on a cliff. After some investigation, Nimans discovered that this famous institution has a long history and has a large number of talents. However, in order to promote the concept of elite, the school allowed faculty and staff to intermarry for generations. At the same time, an energetic young local policeman, Max (Vincent Cassel), is in the chapel to track down the girl who mysteriously disappeared 20 years ago. Someone invades the tomb of Judith, a ten-year-old girl who died in a car accident 18 years ago, and paints Nazi symbols there. The two seemingly isolated cases were intrinsically related, so two people with very different handling styles had to become partners and work together to detect the secrets. After layers of silk and peeling off cocoons, the truth hidden behind the case finally surfaced.
