The picture is from the photo studio of photographer Gosticaesint, a precious photograph of a Romanian town taken between 1937 and 1946. The voice came from the diary of a Jewish doctor in the same period, recording the rise of anti-Semitism and the history of the Romanian Holocaust, interspersed with government propaganda videos at that time. Following the Slave (39th) and the scar of the Young Poet (41st), Redu Zudi turned to a non-feature film, which is also full of shock. The sound and the picture obviously come from the same time and space, but they seem to be two parallel universes. The suffering fate faced by the Jews and the life of the Romanian town seem to be separated, but they contrast with each other and complement each other.
