Until the 1970s, Swiss politicians and religious leaders believed that because of the "way of heaven", women did not have the right to vote. Nora is a young housewife who lives in a quiet village with her husband and two sons. In such a Swiss village, even the huge political movement in May 1968 failed to make waves among the local residents. Nora's life was not supposed to be affected until one day she suddenly decided to run openly and fight for women's rights. Despite various setbacks and not supported and understood by her family, she insisted on encouraging the women in the village to speak up for their due rights.
