Sydney. Lumant directed this low-key romantic drama adapted from Tennessee. Williams' play Ofias comes down to earth. Starring Marlon Brando, Anna Magnani and Joanne Woodward. The plot tells the story of a female owner of a candy store in a small town who, by chance, found that her semi-paralyzed husband had secretly burned down her father's vineyard, destroying her family. So she turned to the young stray guitarist for happiness, but her vicious husband refused to let her go and finally shot her. Due to the wrong casting and the ambiguous tone of the choreographer and director, the story makes it hard to believe the love triangle in the film.
