Race car driver Alan Kobe (Ronald Lewis Ronald Lewis), known as the "devil on the track", meets the beautiful Denise (Diane Cilento) at a race, and the two fall in love and get married. But shortly after their marriage, they were involved in a serious car accident in which the driver of one party was killed on the spot and Allen suffered a severe concussion. After leaving the hospital, Allen and Denise went to France to recuperate, but the car accident seemed to make Allen anxious and paranoid and emotionally unstable. They meet a psychiatrist David Prad (Claude Dauphin) in the area, who says Allen may be suffering from mental illness, which worries Denise. When he returned to London, Allen had a nervous breakdown. He was afraid that he would kill his wife. In order to adjust his mental state, he went to Prad's clinic for treatment on the advice of Denise, and everything seemed to be developing in a good direction.
