He (Ivan McGregor Ewan Gordon McGregor) is a shadow writer, like his code name "Ghost", he hides deep behind the scenes, writing memoirs for celebrities from various industries. One day, the ghost was given a new task to help retouch the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan Pierce Brosnan). Previously, Mike McCara, Adam Lang's assistant during his tenure, was in charge of the book, but McCara mysteriously committed suicide. For the sake of good pay, the ghost accepted the job. In the course of writing the book, Adam was charged with war crimes and the political storm was close at hand. The ghost also began to find out Adam's unknown past and the cause of McCara's death, but did not know that this led him to a dangerous path. The film is adapted from Robert Harris's novel the Gunner and won the Silver Bear Award for Best Director at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
