This is a harmless western song-and-dance comedy set in the 19th century when the Santa Fe Railway began to cross the West from the east. Judy Galen, a singer and dancer, plays a mail-order bride who marries from the east to the western town of New Mexico and works as a waitress at Harvey's new restaurant. Harvey is a well-mannered gambler, old in the world. His girlfriend is sexy and runs a brothel. In these places, all kinds of love stories and fighting movements are staged, and there are quite wonderful songs and dances to help celebrate. Director George Sidney is good at mastering the entertainment effects of genre films, and a group of lively supporting actors make the film look good.
