Here comes another film focusing on the Manson murder, with Hillary Duff starring in the unforgettable The Haunting of Sharon Tate as Sharon Tate. On August 9, 1969, Tate, then the wife of director Roman Polanski, and four friends were brutally killed by homicidal Charles Manson and his followers in a mansion in Beverly Hills, just two weeks before she gave birth. Tate was stabbed 16 times, and the killer wrote "pig" on her doorstep with her blood. Jonathan Bennett plays Ta's protective ex-boyfriend and close friend, as well as Lydia Hearst. Daniel Farrands wrote and directed from Tate's point of view about her last days before she was murdered. The storyline draws inspiration from an interview with Tate, who revealed a year ago that she had dreamed of ghosts haunting her room and foresaw her death at the hands of an evil cult. It is funded and produced by Skyline Entertainment, with Lucas Jarach and Eric Brenner as producers.
