Russell (Bruce Willis Bruce Willis) is middle-aged, his career is mediocre, his love life is blank, he is busy for most of his life, and his income can only be described as "nothing to talk about". By chance, Russell meets a boy who looks very familiar. To Russell's surprise, the boy is none other than himself at the age of 8 (played by Spencer Breslin Spencer Breslin).
