Gipi, formerly known as Gianni Pacinotti, began his comic career in 1992 with masterpieces such as Notes of a War and Bad Picture Book of my Life. He is good at depicting daily life. His works are often hilarious and poetic, and he has been shooting short films since he started playing with Super 8 cameras when he was a child. After reading Nobody will hurt me by another Italian cartoonist Giacomo Monti in 2010, he bought the adaptation rights and received strong support from the famous Italian producer Dominique Bergazi ("Gomorra", "the birth of the Pope"). In this film, aliens with big silver heads and sunken eyes come to Earth not to "invade", but to help humans solve communication barriers with each other.
