Scott Eastwood, Kaleb Landry Jones and Orlando Bloom will star in Millennium Media's Afghanistan war-themed film The Outpost. Rod Larry directed the film, which was based on a book by CNN reporter Jake Tapper. The film's story revolves around the true stories of 53 American soldiers who engaged in a protracted battle against approximately 400 enemy militants in northeastern Afghanistan. The outposts they built are located at the base of three steep mountains just 14 miles from the Pakistan border. Al Qaeda faces attacks from Taliban terrorists. The soldiers stationed there face huge threats. In the film, Scott Eastwood plays Sergeant Clint Romosa, Kaleb Landry Jones plays Professional Sergeant Ty Michael Carter, and Bloom plays Benjamin D. Keating was unfortunately killed in the war in Afghanistan. Filming is expected to start in August this year, and the film will also be looking for buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.
