Single woman Nicole (Agnes Bruckner) lives alone in the house where she grew up. She has long been estranged from her mother, quarreled with her sister Anne (Caity Lotz), and entrusted her daughter to the care of her friend Lizzie (Kathleen Rose Perkins). Her life seems to be a mess, but she has to face it. One day, Nicole suddenly lost contact with the outside world, worried about her safety, Anne rushed from the house, but never found any trace of her sister, and the room heard strange sounds from time to time. This situation is becoming more and more serious, and strange and terrible incidents occur one after another. All kinds of unusual experiences prompted Anne to find the truth behind all this. In this process, the facts that have been hidden for many years gradually come to the surface, and the footsteps of death become increasingly clear.
