Evald Schorm, as one of the main figures of the Czech film new wave movement, his life can be regarded as a tireless art pursuer and a wonderful life of the game between the great power and each other. Even in the years when he was banned from film, as a drama director, he has been active on the art stage. This film is one of the top ten banned films of the Czech New Wave. It was voted "Czech Movie Top 100" by Movie Express on the occasion of the Czech film's 100th year. As a leader in political banned films, unlike the same type of films, Edelvar Schulm does not talk too much about political metaphors in the film. on the contrary, the director takes great pains in the plot. Crime, irony, absurdity, greed and other elements are mixed one by one to show the audience a strange crazy world.
