Stephanie (Jill Schoelen) is still immersed in the pain of her father's death, so she can't forgive her mother for remarrying a man named Jerry (Terry O'Quinn Terry O'Quinn). Although Jerry seemed to anyone to be a qualified father and an excellent husband, Stephanie saw his strange side by chance, so she was hostile to her stepfather. Ogilvy (Stephen Sheren Stephen Shellen) is investigating a massacre in which his sister is the victim. Ogilvy's sister had an unhappy marriage, and after her second marriage, she thought she had finally caught the real happiness. She didn't know that her bedside man was actually a bloodthirsty pervert. In the end, she and her children were both killed by a ruthless butcher's knife, and the killer was always at large.
