Kenny Petaro is a hygienic ice cream seller. His life is monotonous and boring, but he comes across a young woman, Lolita Norwich, one night. It turns out that the psychiatrist of the two people is the same person. They hit it off and decided to go to the Golden Gate Bridge and jump off the bridge to commit suicide. So the two men went on a walk-and-go trip. They stole a car and drove all the way from Chicago to San Francisco. They tried to rob the convenience store, but turned the robbery into a farce. I met two hitchhikers on the way, and after a brief talk, Lolita gave them the car behind Kenny's back. The experiences and adventures along the way made the two strangers become familiar with each other and began to depend on each other. At the end of the journey, they accompanied each other to face each other's knots over the years. The two men finally let go of the past, when they also came to San Francisco. Lolita decided to climb the Golden Gate Bridge and jump off the bridge to commit suicide as planned. Kenny came in time to save Lolita, and the two found that they had already fallen in love with each other.
