The Tango Lesson

The Tango Lesson 6.8

Film director Sally (Sally Porter Sally Potter) encounters inspiration blockages while writing a new screenplay. She is annoyed, but to no avail. After watching a passionate and wanton tango performance, Sally was deeply infected as if she had found some inspiration. She decided to leave her job for a while and start learning tango. On a trip to Paris, she met the famous tango dancer Pablo and was attracted by his dance. So he offered to act in his next film in exchange for Pablo teaching her to dance. Sally became more and more addicted to the tango, and while learning the tango with Pablo, they fell in love with each other. However, there is a great contrast between the two people from different cultural backgrounds: Pablo from South America has a strong desire for control, and he is used to controlling dance choices, music and other details, even his love with Sally. Sally, as a feminist, was the key person who decided Pablo to participate in her film. The relationship between the two men is sometimes tense and sometimes leisurely, and a war of love begins quietly.
