Located in the deep mountains and forests of Canada,"Wolverine" Rogen (Hugh Jackman), who bears the pain of eternal life, lives in seclusion here. In a conflict with a hunter, he receives help from a Japanese woman Yuki (Lila Fukushima). Yuesheng was a subordinate sent by Rogan's old acquaintance during World War II, Yashida. It seemed that his old friend who had passed away soon longed to see Rogan again before he died. After crossing the ocean, Rogan finally meets the weak Yashida, who hopes that he can protect his granddaughter Mariko (Tayo Okamoto). As the old man passed away, a fire suddenly broke out at the funeral. Rogan desperately rescues Mariko with Yukiyu's help, while Yashida's son Noben (played by Hiroyu Sanda) seems to have other plans. On the run, Rogan accidentally discovered that he had lost his ability to heal himself, and Wolverine's biggest crisis came... This film is based on the original comic book by Frank Miller.
