The quiet mountain village entered the rainy season. An Keyan, an old lumberjack in the village (acted the role of the general department of service) is stodgy and has a tense relationship with his son. On his way to work, he led the way to Tokyo's newcomer Koichi Tanabe (Koichi Otaki) and his associate director, and was dragged into the location shooting of a zombie movie. After being forced to act as an extra, Kohiko became so subtly interested in the film that he began to unsolicited to help the crew communicate with the villagers and work, even ignoring the anniversary of his job and his wife's death. The sudden break-in of the film crew disturbed the peace of the mountain village and Kohiko's life, and also changed the director Koichi himself. Fortunately, he was shy and lack of self-confidence and had no prestige in the film crew. Accidentally, he found that his zombie script was appreciated by Ke Yan, and he was greatly encouraged, and the two had a wonderful communication during several baths. With the help of Kohiko, Koichi slowly built up his self-confidence, and filming was on the right track. However, before shutting down the phone, a torrential rain once again put the shooting into a crisis, and Keyan's absence also made Yukuichi panic. The film won the grand prize of the jury of the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival. In the film, the two leading actors Hiroshi and Xiao Li have also served as directors in real life.
