Titus (Anthony Hopkins Anthony Hopkins) is a general loyal to the Roman emperor. He is brave and loyal, and is deeply trusted by the emperor. When the war breaks out, Titus leads the whole family and the Goths to fight for their lives. Despite heavy casualties, they still win the final victory, and capture the Gothic Queen Tamora (Jessica Lange Jessica Lange) and her family. In the ceremony to celebrate the victory, Titus chose Tamora's eldest son as a sacrifice. To the surprise of Titus, Tamora became the queen of this huge empire, and he was falling into the vengeance trap woven by Tamora step by step. Under Tamora's design, Titus's family is broken, and while she is enjoying the thrill of revenge, she finds that she has been helping her Elon (Harry Lennox Harry J. Lennix) defect and escape, and he defects to Titus's exiled son.
