Boyfriend brother Francis (Pierre-Yves Cardinar Pierre-Yves Cardinal) is homophobic and violent, threatening Tom not to reveal his true relationship with his brother and savagely imprisoning Tom on the farm. Unexpectedly, Tom gradually fell in love with farm life, and Francis and his mother fell into a mental game in their contact with Tom. "Tom's Farm Journey" tells the story of a young comrade who attends her boyfriend's funeral and discovers that his relationship with his boyfriend is a secret, and then further discovers that his lover's mother and brother also have their own secrets; as a result of his unexpected presence, elder brother has to hide the motive even if he uses violence. This is a psychological thriller, the whole film to layer upon layer of stripping to explore the obscure relationship between the parties, the style is remote, the process is chilling. The film is written, directed, acted, cut and designed by young Canadian director Dolan.
