The story takes place in France in 1671, when the luxurious life of the princes and aristocrats plunged the people into a terrible situation of suffering and poverty, and their anger and resistance increased day by day. But even under these circumstances, Prince Kurd (Julian Glover Julian Glover) is still thinking about how to please his father, Louis XIV (Julian Sanders Julian Sands). To this end, Prince Kurd decided to hold a three-day growth banquet, and he handed over the task to the attendant Walter (played by Jailall de Padiyo G é rard Depardieu). Walter accomplished the task assigned to him by the prince, and all the guests at the party were satisfied and surprised by what they had heard and seen. The appearance of a lady named Anne (Uma Thurman Uma Thurman) makes Walter fall in love. Unfortunately, Louis XIV seems to want Anne, too. Walter was in pain in the face of such a powerful rival.
