In the Aegean Sea in 1922, American Adam Dale and his father were ransacked by local troops during their voyage. The whole ship was killed, but Adam Dale narrowly escaped and was rescued by Josh Corley, a rascal who often robbed at sea. But robbery had always been Josh's business, and he was not kind to Adam, not only taking all the gold from him, but also killing him for money. The witty Adam threw Josh overboard and returned to the Greek island alone. But after this episode, Adam and Josh didn't know each other and became good friends. Adam had no ties in the world since his father died, so he agreed to wander around Greece with Josh. At a time of war, the Turkish army needed a large number of mercenaries, and Josh, with advanced weapons and soldiers, wanted to make a fortune in troubled times. So he encouraged Adam to work with him to lead the mercenaries to help the Turkish army. Adam was adventurous by nature, and the two quickly organized a strong mercenary team. But the first task to take over is not to fight, but to help each other escort a shipment, followed by a colonel of the Turkish army. The goods being transported were small and heavy, and both Adam and Josh knew it.
