This play is based on "A Very English Scandal" to create a poetry series, and the sequel is renamed "A Very British Scandal" because of the changing background of the story. The story will tell the scandal and crisis of the upper class in Britain. The new story is set in Scotland and focuses on the sex scandal of Margaret Campbell, Duchess of Argyle, in 1963. During the chaotic divorce of Margaret (Claire Foy) and her second husband, the Duke of Argyle (Paul Bettany) gets a picture of her having sex with a strange man, and Margaret is known as the "dirty Duchess".
