The play is adapted from Nick Hornby's novel "wonderful Girl Funny Girl" of the same name. Set in the colorful 1960s, the protagonist Barbara Parker has just won the title of "Miss Blackpool", but she feels she can do something other than being elected queen in a seaside town. So under the dazzling call of London, Barbara embarked on a journey and began to explore his future. However, London was not as wonderful as she had learned from television and books, and after a series of setbacks, Barbara found herself in unfamiliar territory: auditioning for a TV comedy show.
