In the church, a couple-Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Jim (David Conrad David Conrad) are getting married. Suddenly, there was a man who could not be seen asking Melinda for help. It turned out that Melinda, like her grandmother, had a mysterious ability to communicate with ghosts. Her grandmother told her that these ghosts refused to leave because they had unfinished business with the living and called them "land ghosts". Because Melinda has this special ability to communicate with ghosts, ghosts often come to her for help and conduct some supernatural investigations.
