Harry (Kathy Bates Kathy Bates) is a smart and capable lawyer, however, because of her astonishing temper, Harry was fired by her boss. After that, Harry met a young man named Malcolm (Amel Emian Aml Ameen) and is facing charges. With Haley's help, Malcolm cleared his name, and he admired Harlee's defense skills. So he offered to work for Harry. In this way, Harry and Malcolm rented a small shoe store as an office and opened their law firm. By chance, Harry meets Adam, a legal genius (Nathan Cordry Nathan Corddry), who joins Harry's team. Meanwhile, the girl Jenna (Brittany Snow Brittany Snow) becomes Harry's new assistant, a former shoe store salesman who doesn't know much about law and defense.
