NCIS (Naval Criminal investigation Agency) is an action show about a special unit of the Pentagon charged with investigating any crime that has a shred of evidence of being linked to members of the Navy and Marine Corps, regardless of rank or rank. Leading the team and independent of the Navy chain of command is NCIS Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), an experienced investigator and interrogator who is witty, tough and willing to break the rules to get the job done. Directly under the leadership of Gibbs is the Anthony DiNozzo agent (Michael Weatherly). As a former major crime agent, his excellent instinct comes from a great deal of investigative experience. Then they were joined by Kate Todd (Sasha Alexander), a beautiful and tough former Secret Service agent who went hand-to-hand with Gibbs (see NCIS season 1 episode 1). And Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), who is engaged in technical analysis, is a talented scientist whose dark humor and Gothic style dress complement each other. The new addition to the team is Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT (often mentioned in the show), whose computer proficiency has made him a trainee agent in a group led by Gibbs. Behind the group is the forensic medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), who is well-informed. From murder and espionage to terrorism and submarine theft, these agents have traveled all over the world to investigate all crimes related to the Navy and Marines.
