Land of Blood, starring David Morrissey, Peter Capaldi, Jonas Armstrong and Jayd Johnson, is a dark and scary crime drama. Based on Denise Mina's best-selling novel and set in 1982, the story revolves around the heroine, Paddy Meehan, a young female employee of a Glasgow newspaper who aspires to become a journalist. In the face of an almost male-dominated press, Paddy dreams of becoming an investigative journalist, who she believes is sometimes the only hope for misjudgments.
