Naomi Wirtz joined Showtime to focus on the new play by former CEO Roger Ayers, who plays former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson. Russell Crowe will play Ayers. The series is adapted from the loudest Voice in the Room, a biography written by Gabriel Sherman, about Ayers' last decade of life before his death in May 2017, including sexual harassment charges against him by Carlson and other women at Fox News, which eventually led to Ayers' resignation from Fox News in 2016. Tom McCarthy ([focus]) will co-operate the first episode of the script with Sherman.
