The show, set in Northern Ireland before the legislation was amended, takes place between 2013 and 19, tells the true experiences of three women and their families, and explores the heated debate over abortion in Northern Ireland. The 1967 abortion Act, which allowed women to have abortions in the UK, did not cover Northern Ireland at the time.
