The story focuses on Freddie (Ian McClane Ian McKellen) and Stewart (Derek Yakubi Derek Jacobi), a pair of veteran comrades who live in Covent Garden in London, England. Stewart still reports to his mother that they are roommates after living together for 48 years. When they met, Freddie was a new actor and Stuart was a bartender. Now that they are both receiving pensions, walking the dog, reading the newspaper and reading the handsome guy, quarrelling at the end of the bed and the sunset life are still wonderful.
ITV's latest gay sitcom, starring two Tony Award winners, is the screenwriter and behind-the-scenes producer of the classic comedy will and Grace and the famous animation House of parodies, about the lives of a pair of gay couples who have attracted a lot of attention before being broadcast. As the old British actors who have come out in public, the two leading actors have participated in numerous film and television works and stage plays, and their tacit understanding and interaction constitute the biggest focus of this play.
