Cinemax announced the booking of the Dragon Warrior Warrior, a pilot series inspired by projects written by Bruce Lee, which will be produced and directed by Lin Yibin and written by Jonathan Tropper, the creator of Banshee. The audition is set in Chinatown in San Francisco after the American Civil War; the Dragon Warrior tells the story of a young martial arts talent who comes all the way from China and finds himself involved in a bloody war in Chinatown. Dragon Warrior was a project that Bruce Lee studied for many years during his lifetime, but it was not produced and published. It was his daughter, Li Xiangning, who found a large number of manuscripts related to the plan while packing up his belongings. She later sold the project to Cinemax in partnership with the production company in 15 years.
