The play is based on a true story. Stella Tomlinson's 14-year-old daughter died accidentally at home one night three years ago, and her life has been shackled by grief ever since. In order to get out of the haze of her daughter's death, Stella and her husband Paul contacted by the judiciary and decided to listen to the recording of the murderer Charles, in order to start a new life from Charles's confession and atonement. However, as the connection between Stella and Charles deepened, she began to suspect that the assailant was not Charles, but someone else.
