This film is a companion to "A Dog's Mission" and tells the story of Bella the dog who traveled four hundred miles home. The male protagonist Lucas meets Bella the puppy in an abandoned building. Even though his mother banned dogs, he persuaded her to bring Bella back and raise her and took Bella to the veterans hospital where he worked to bring joy and comfort to the patients. An accident accidentally caused Bella, who had grown up, to be accidentally lost, and she was separated from her owner by accident. Bella, who was separated from her master, was anxious. She climbed over snowy mountains and grasslands, along the Rocky Mountains, and across the crisis-ridden Colorado wilderness. She resolutely embarked on an unknown and dangerous, four-hundred-mile adventure home, just to return to her master Lucas, and returned home.
