Director David Vass (Julio Chavez Julio Ch á vez) prepares a film depicting the legendary King of the Patagonia Plateau and Araucania region of Argentina. The preparation work is difficult, but the most difficult thing is to find the most suitable king to play. After hard work, all the actors finally decided, and the crew set off for the Patagonia plateau in southern Argentina to begin filming. But just as the filming mission was drawing to a close, the producer suddenly withdrew the money and everyone was evicted from the borrowed orphanage. David Vass owes the actor's salary, but insists on finishing the film, driving the crew manager Arturo (Ulysses Dumont Ulises Dumont) crazy. This film is one of the masterpieces of magical realism in South America.
