In the two villages of Larasema, Naraku and Comadi, the dispute has been led for decades by Bashi Redi and Narapaledi, respectively. Vera Rihavaredi, the son of Narappa Reddy, returned from London after completing his studies. Bashi Reddy attacked and killed Narapaledi on his way home. Rihawa instinctively killed his opponent with a knife. After discussion with his grandmother, he realized that violence had become a way of life in these villages and went to Hyderabad to find a solution to the dispute.
