Science fiction thriller, about the solar eclipse caused by the ultra-cold air rushing to the earth, causing a series of disasters, the earth is facing a new ice age. Michael Shanks of Stargate plays a geophysicist, Alessandra Davis and Indiana Evans play his wife and daughter. The behind-the-scenes film was co-produced by Canada and Australia and was filmed on the Australian island of Tasmania. Film director Brian Trenchard Smith, from Canada, directed a number of influential Class B horror films in the 1980s and 1990s. this is the second time he came to Australia to shoot a film after remaking "the Blood Sahara" from Humphrey Bogart's classic World War II film in 1995. "I am proud to be able to make a film with a climatologist as the protagonist." It was a great experience working with passionate young people and old friends in Tasmania. The film premiered at the Canadian Film Festival in Sydney in August 2010.
