In this growing-up drama, a retired musical prodigy (Cahill Yvredge) accidentally becomes friends with an hapless high school security guard (Anthony Anderson). They come together because of their common love of hip-hop, they try to free each other from their past pain, and they want to perform on the stage. "Rhythm Redemption" is directed by Chris Robinson ("the New American Story" and "the Story of New Edition"), co-starring Yvreich, Ochoa Aduba and Imeagotti Elodi, which is also the debut of Yvreich's film. "beat Redemption" is the ultimate ode to the South side of Chicago, and its long history of creating music continues to inject life into the city.
