Zheng Haiyuan (Chi Chengyuan), a single woman who works alone in the financial industry in Seoul, is naturally under great pressure from all sides. She is becoming more and more nervous and eventually has to take a vacation. Using the holiday, Haiyuan returned to her hometown without island, where she had been away for a long time. The scenery here is beautiful, the folk customs are rough and even barbaric, and the phenomenon that men are superior to women is still very serious. Haiyuan meets her childhood playmate Jin Funan (Xu Yingji), a gentle, cheerful, hard-working woman, but her husband and family regard her as a pig and dog, bullying and humiliating her at will. Funan wants her daughter Xiaoyan to have a better life, but in this wild place, human dignity is wantonly trampled on. Under great pressure, the submissive Fu Nan turned into a tragic vengeance queen. This film is the feature-length debut of Jang Chul-soo, the assistant director of South Korean director Kim Ki-tak.
