Sailor Ted meets at the Lonely Heart Club of friend Gunny's wife Jenny, a girl Nora Page, and falls in love. Nora wants to be a Broadway dancer. Ted rescued the Beijing native of Broadway star Lucy James during a public relations campaign for his submarine.
