The film is based on real events. The story takes place in 19th-century turbulent and chaotic England. Booker (Simon Page Simon Pegg) and Haier (Andy Serkis Andy Serkis) are a pair of grave robbers who illegally steal valuable funerary objects from the tomb and exchange them for a considerable amount of money. After all, the funerary objects are limited, and making money by robbing tombs does not make them rich, so the evil two began to think of corpses. They make a huge profit by selling the body to a doctor named Robert (Tom Wilkinson Tom Wilkinson), but with the passage of time, the few dead have been unable to satisfy Haier and Booker's growing appetite, so the two men who stole the body became the two people who made the body. In just one year, 17 people were killed by Haier and Booker's butcher's knife, but while committing crimes, the two men were also marching towards their graves.
