Physicist Yukawa Yukawa (Masaji Fukuyama) returned to Japan from the United States, and the policewoman Kaoru Neihai (Miyuki Shibataki) asked him for help. A popular girl in town suddenly disappeared and her body was found a few years later. Yukawa's classmate, Senior Detective Kusama Shunping (Kitamura Yihui) arrested a male suspect, but the suspect was released for lack of evidence by the police. When the man returned to the town, he appeared in front of the girl's family and challenged them. An atmosphere of hatred hung over the whole town. However, on the day of the autumn holiday parade, the man died, and everyone in town had a motive but an alibi. Yukawa, Neihai and Kushu set out to solve the problem.
